Manager, Global Oncology Marketing at Daiichi Sankyo Inc. in Bernardsville, NJ

This role is responsible for participating in the design, creation, and implementation of a well-researched HCP promotional, professional education and non-personal campaign for the assigned product/indication; the candidate will participate in a broad array of brand functions including but not limited to agency management and execution, budgeting, key stakeholder relationships, market research, KOL engagements, and leading internal cross-functional teams and maintains open and on-going communication with various regions and departments to monitor the success of the franchise. The role works collaboratively with key global regional stakeholders based in the US, Europe, Japan and ASCA as well as wide range of headquarter functions including:
global marketing, product development, insight and analytics, medical affairs, regulatory affairs, corporate affairs, and others. Responsibilities Participate in the development and implementation of key customer focused strategies and tactics for the brand including personal and non-personal, HCP professional education, and pharmacy. Support global launch planning. In collaboration with senior leadership, evolve and execute on the global brand strategy plan. As well as lead brand-wide initiatives spanning many teams across the oncology franchise Lead as the advocate for the brand-wide positioning, messaging, and brand narrative; create pre-launch materials (unbranded campaigns, etc.) for healthcare providers to be used globally. Participate in the brand planning process for the brand and own key sections of the plan; present to senior leadership on occasion. Examples of sections include:
HCP strategies, market landscape updates, and KOL engagement strategy and execution. Develop the messaging and core global marketing materials Lead relationship with advertising agency on key projects in the development of materials Collaborate with corporate affairs to ensure appropriate communication of therapeutic intent Maintain the latest clinical and scientific knowledge of rapidly evolving oncology therapeutic areas Support the global marketing team in the development of advisory boards and partnerships with key external experts Collaborate with training teams to ensure launch readiness of sales and marketing leads across the globe Manage A&P for key responsibilities associated with position
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation. Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university) Bachelor's Degree required; emphasis in health sciences is preferred MBA or other advanced degree preferred Experience Qualifications 4 or More Years overall related work experience (or commensurate education/work experience) required 1 or More Years brand marketing or comparable education/work experience required 1 or More Years pharmaceutical industry, clinical, and/or academic experience preferred 1 or More Years cross-functional experience e.g., managed markets, new product planning, business analytics; or equivalent preferred 1 or More Years Oncology therapeutic experience preferred Travel Ability to travel up to 40% Business Travel (Domestic and Global)
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Marketing Research & AnalysisEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
