Risk and Financial Advisory Overview: Our Risk and Financial Advisory group is comprised of more than 10,000 partners, managers and staff. We help solve our clients\u2019 most complex financial instrument and physical market challenges by delivering risk advisory, technical accounting, quantitative, technology and operational advisory services. Specifically, our consulting projects include risk assessment and solution implementation for business strategies and policies, business processes, organization structure, risk modeling, management reporting and treasury, trading and risk systems. We help clients obtain, analyze and report information from multiple sources and across risk classes to facilitate tactical and strategic decision making. The Managed Services & Product (MS&P) Team is a new division within RFA that oversees and governs all of the technology products developed by RFA professional over the years. With MS&P, there are 2 separate teams \u2013 Managed Services (MS) and Products (or Technology Products). We currently have more than 30 products in our portfolio.Work You\u2019ll DoThis role is within the Products team of MS&P. The Finance Business Operations Lead will manage all financial operations for Technology Products. Finance Business operations will function as the CFO for the Products team within MS&P. You will be responsible for all financial control matters for the entire portfolio of RFA Products. This will include:\n

  • Bring and implement product performance metrics (from how established software product companies measure finance performance)
  • \n
  • Engage product teams articulate ROI on costs against business plan
  • \n
  • Facilitate and build multi-year per-product business plan
  • \n
  • Provide meaningful, actionable insights, advice, and recommendations on historic and the future profitability performance to the Product Management and RFA Leadership
  • \n
  • Participate in strategy development and planning with our product teams; develop metrics to monitor the performance against strategic initiatives
  • \n
  • Support the Product Leader to successfully implement the business strategy
  • \n
  • Support an efficient and effective planning and forecasting process that produces accurate, achievable plans and forecasts that align with business\u2019s strategic objectives
  • \n
  • Support the business in protecting, growing and optimizing the assets of the Firm
  • \n
  • Support initiatives to help the products\u2019 business in achieving its strategic objectives
  • \n
  • Regularly collaborate with all Product Managers in developing and tracking their product financial plans
  • \n
  • Work very closely with RFA Finance to help integrate MS&P Product Financial plans with RFA\u2019s Financial Planning process
  • \n
  • Work closely with Talent and other business partners to ensure Product financial plans are in sync with all business required

  • Bachelor\u2019s Degree in a finance major and/or relevant experience required; MBA preferred\xa0
  • \n
  • 5+ years of financial analysis experience in a technology products environment
  • \n
  • 8+ years overall financial analysis experience.
  • \n
  • Good general management focus with good understanding of business finance/accounting
  • \n
  • Prior consulting experience in strategy and operations, finance transformation or other advisory capacity strongly preferred
  • \n
  • Must be comfortable analyzing numbers, developing insights and developing presentations to present these insights
  • \n
  • \xa0Must have strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to professional and client service excellence
  • \n
  • Must be able to balance a number of tasks, work to deadlines and product quality deliverables, in addition to develop good working relationships
  • \n
  • Ability to foster strong relationships and operating rhythms with leaders both inside and outside client and product teams to implement effective user experiences
  • \n
  • Experience in communicating technical and non-technical topics with a wide range of stakeholders, internally and externally
  • \n
  • Ability to influence others and mentor junior members
  • \n
  • Must have strong organizational skills, critical reasoning and decision-making skills

  • Ability to operate independently and thrive within a fast-paced work environment

  • Must be able to travel up to 20%

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
