Senior IT Auditor


The Senior IT Auditor will assist the Internal Audit management team in their execution of the annual risk assessment process, audit plans, and other audit matters or special projects. S/He will perform technical and operational audits and report findings to auditee and Senior Management. This position will issue written reports outlining findings and recommendations based on audit results and evaluate processes and detecting opportunities for the implementation of control procedures. Additionally, the Sr. IT Auditor will assist with the coordination and execution of external audits and assist with the development and implementation of data analytics and ad-hoc data analysis to improve audit efficiency.


  • Bachelors in Information Technology/Science, Business, Finance, Accounting or other related area
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of public accounting, internal audit or relevant IT operational experience
  • Good understanding of auditing and risk evaluation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a highly dynamic, fast paced and team oriented environment
  • Strong diplomacy skills and the ability to resolve conflict in a professional manner
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive for achievement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • Professional certification of one or more (e. g., CISA, CISSP, CIA)
  • Knowledge and experience auditing:
  • Enterprise Resource Platforms (e. g., JD Edwards, Oracle Financials, PeopleSoft, SAP)
  • Emerging technologies (e. g., Cloud Computing, Virtualization, Mobile)
  • Databases (Microsoft SQL or Oracle)
  • Complex networks, routers, switches and firewalls
  • Multi-platform operating systems (Microsoft Windows, UNIX, iSeries)
  • Information Security / Cyber Security
  • Knowledge of ACL, Business Objects, Tableau or other data analytics tools
  • Knowledge of TeamMate #LI-POST7

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
